Welcome to the CDA Web Site Whether you are a new Area Agency on Aging (AAA) Director, new AAA staff, or an experienced AAA staff member, the CDA Web Site will be an invaluable asset and a useful tool for your daily routine. In this presentation you will get an “orientation” to our Web Site content.

  3. Always Go to the Web Site First! • To find out what you need to know, always go the Web Sitefirst and check it out. If at all possible, get your information from the Web. • Then, if you still can’t find what you need, call your AAA-Based Team for further assistance. • PS: We are still building our Web Site, so some items may not yet be available. Check at least monthly for new helpful tools, guidance, etc.

  8. The Home Page Benefits • The Home Page offers many selections in the left-hand menu, the featured links in the right-hand menu, and other options in the middle menu. • From the Home Page, select “AAA Partners” in the left hand menu. That will bring you to “AAA Partners Index.”

  14. Program Memos • Program Memos (or “PMs”) are CDA’s primary issuance of State Policy. They are produced sequentially during the calendar year. • Find the current year and two additional years of PMs by number and title. These are downloadable documents. • Find past PMs by number and title only.

Laws and Regulations • In addition to contract provisions, State policies through PMs, and best practices, you have State and federal laws and regulations. • This site plugs you into the latest federal and State statutes and codes. • Includes Older Americans Act and Older Californians Act law and regulations.

Statistics and Demographics • This site should be helpful to Planners. • CDA offers some statistics that others don’t (some special tables not found in Census Fact Finder, etc.). • Future plans call for specialized links to specialized data (i.e., CHIS) and for program performance and client profile data to be posted.
