  3. questions asked • would you be interested in a K1 series: • 100cc karting series • minimum 6 event p.a. • minimum weights • 50-60 lap event • dedicated & exclusivity on karts for one year • event cost includes kart lease cost, tyres, fuel, spares, incidentals, mechanics • tyre cost included and replaced afer every third race • private testing allowed at separate cost • opportunity to learn kart setups • how much would they pay for it project proposal

  5. the results 20 my-kart members responded out of 240 on mailing list and 340 on website

  6. general conclusions • strong interest for K1 series • event fees ~ RM400 • upfront ~ RM450 • run K1 with K2 & K3 calendar • have activities for family • have circuit mixture (esp sepang) project proposal

  7. issues & concerns • can we achieve minimum 15 drivers per event? • kart sharing – max 2 drivers? • duration of K1, K2 and K3 events? • how does this fit with grassroots racing festival • event management • sponsors • aam sanction project proposal

  8. 75% very interested in K1 series project proposal

  9. 60% would pay between RM251-RM550 mean of RM400 project proposal

  10. 55% would pay above RM451 upfront project proposal

  11. 45% say do not de-couple from K2/K3 60% can commit to more than 5 races p.a. 70% prefer circuit mixture and 20% prefer sepang 50% prefer 4 hour event duration run K1 with K2/K3, with 10 events, but mix the racing venues 65% would like to bring the family and 95% would pay more than RM101 for family treats project proposal
