  2. STEPS FOR:AUSTRALIA VISIT VISA

  3. STEP 1: ATTEND A COUNSELING SESSION • Attend a counseling session (Telephonic/In-person) and search out your choices.

  4. STEP 2:Tourist Stream • For people to visit Australia for a holiday, sightseeing, social or recreational reasons, to visit relatives, friends or for other short-term non-work purposes. • There are a number of visas available for people to visit Australia as a tourist.

  5. Step 3:Electronic Travel Authority (Subclass 601) • This is for business people who need to Visit Australia for a short business visit including conference and meetings. • The ETA is an electronically stored authority for travel to Australia. You must be outside Australia when you apply and when the ETA is granted. • For business people travelling to Australia for a short business visit. This includes making a general business or employment enquiry, negotiations or participating in a conference
