April– June 30 Set Goals on Club Central for next Rotary Year Finalize your current year contributions (NOTE: after June 30, it delays program funding by one year ) Offer incentives for member contributions (Recognition Points) Attend District Training Assembly (Grant Management Trng) July - October Promote Rotary Foundation Manage contributions, present to club and members reports Attend Rotary Foundation Seminar with other members (Grant Management Trng) Nov – Dec Rotary Foundation Month: Presentations from Dist Committee End of Tax year, encourage giving Schedules

Jan – March Renew Club’s District Grant MOU Apply for District Grants, due by March 30 Incentives for member contributions (Recognition Points) Look at contribution trends, implement plans to exceed goals All Year Promote Rotary Foundation and Resources for Club Projects Manage contributions, present to Club and members reports Develop / implement fundraising ideas Recognize contributors / PHF or other Provide reports to Club leaders Schedules

  14. Foundation Funding Annual Fund Contributions SHARE System Contributions Endowment Fund Spendable Earnings PolioPlus Fund

  15. Divides Annual Fund contributions between District Designated Fund (DDF) World Fund Transforms contributions into grants, etc. Allows local Rotarians to determine how Club contributions are best put to use SHARE System

  16. At the end of 3rd Rotary year, Annual Fund contributions split: 50% to the World Fund 50% credited to district’s DDF Annual Fund Contributions

  17. The Trustees determine the spendable earnings. Contributions designated to Permanent Fund-SHARE, the spendable earnings are split: 50% to the World Fund 50% credited to district’s DDF Endowment Fund Earnings

  18. Two “Distribution” Funds District Designated Fund District directed Used by Rotarians in the District Spent on TRF grants and programs • World Fund • Trustee directed • Used by Rotarians worldwide • Spent on TRF grants and programs

  21. Example of District Designated Funds (DDF) US$100,000 District Designated Fund Up to 50% Remaining Balance Any amount to Global Grants, PolioPlus, or Rotary Peace Centers Up to $50,000 to District Grants Carry forward & transfers
