  2. Studio Potter Assignment: • We will create a set of FOUR 4 matching mugs. • Handbuilding methods of: SOFT or Leatherhard slabs, rolled or pulled handles. (I will DEMO all of these processes) • Your set MUST address texture in the slab. • We will research clay artist examples.

  3. TODAY: • Each student will sketch FOUR mug designs. • Consider sizes (show me approximate measurements). • SELECT your best mug design and show me a TO SCALE drawing of your mug. • If you are ready, begin forming the BODIES of your clay mugs.
