The Galapagos • Wide variety of landscapes and climates • Great diversity in wildlife due to varying landscapes, all within 225 miles of each other, which includes penguins living in the Northern Hemisphere • Volcanic craters to explore from the creation of the islands • Diversity among species inspired Darwin’s Theory of Evolution while voyaging on the HMS Beagle

Great Barrier Reef • Largest coral reef system in the world, with a reef structure made up of billions of microscopic organisms • Spans 1,600 miles • Is visible from outer space • Consists of 900 islands and 2,900 separate reefs within its 133,000 square miles • Beautiful underwater sites to see while scuba-diving

  5. Mount Everest • Highest mountain in the world with a summit of 29,029 feet • Highest point on Earth’s surface • Is pushed upward by tectonic plates and grows by 1.6 to 3.9 inches per year • A challenging journey to the peak and an awe-inspiring view from the top
