  3. The method of project work • is comparatively new in the world’s pedagogy. It is also called “the method of challenges”. • any kind of work done from your heart, which has a definite goal • a complex of research and graphic types of work, which are done for practical or theoretical solution of a certain challenge • a purposeful activity based on the participants’ interests A project is: The most frequently used words in the project definition are activity and goal.

  4. The final products include: reports multimedia presentations booklets posters problem solutions

  5. The method of project work is a system of educational activities, aimed at the integration of factual knowledge as well as implementation and acquirement of new one, mostly by self-education.

  6. Types of projects • individual work • short-term (one or several lessons) • medium-term (from several weeks to several months) • long-term (from several months to several years) • pair work • group work

Stages in Learning Circles/ Global Teenager projects • Week 1- Writing a teacher’s “hello” message • Week 2 -Writing the students’ “hello” message • Week 3 – Asking questions to the participants • Week 4-6 – Responding to sponsored questions • Week 7 – Writing a summary • Week 8 – Writing a “farewell” letter
