HEALTHY FOODS They are GOOD for your body. They help you GROW. They make you become STRONG.
What kind of foods are healthy? • Vegetables • Fruits • Lean Meat, Nuts and Legumes • Whole Grains • Dairy
Healthier Foods contain • Less oil • Less salt • Less sugar • No preservatives • More nutrients
FRUITS They contain lots of vitamins and minerals!
VEGETABLES Like fruits, they provide numerous health benefits!
CHICKEN SOUP Unlike fried chicken, chicken soup contains less oil. Plus, vegetables make it more nutritious!
CHIPS Chips are high on salt and low on nutrients. They are oily, too!
CANDIES Candies are high on sugar and low on nutrients. They can cause damage to your teeth, too!
SOFTDRINKS They are high on sugar and low on nutrients.
