  3. How many baths were there ? • Tepidarium (Warm and dry Room) To relieve tension /pour oil on yourself • Caldarium (Hot and steamy ) Wooden sandals To Open the pores/scrap off oil • Frigidarium (cold pool) To close the pores /clean off oils

  4. Did people bathe together ? • Only men • And only women • What times • How did they clean oil and strigil

  5. How did bathhouses get built ? Bathhouses were built to commemorate the emperor at that time so that people would never forget them. Bathhouses were built to encourage daily bathing.
