Minimum Eligibility Requirements • Applications will be accepted from the following not-for profit organizations: • Designated AIDS Centers • Academic Medical Centers • Special Needs Plans (SNPs) • *Community-based & professional organizations may apply for Center F only (Resource, Referral and Evaluation) • Applicants must be located in New York State.

6. General Program Requirements • Staff experience and skill providing HIV clinical education • Ability to integrate clinical education priorities and AI HIV Guidelines • Organizational structure • Ability to form collaborative relationships with other organizations • Participation in CEI program meetings • Quality Management Program • Program and fiscal reporting to the AIDS Institute

Preferred Eligibility Requirements Center A: Clin Ed for Upstate Providers • Experience providing HIV clinical care and clinical education • Organizational capacity and resources to plan, develop and implement HIV clinical education throughout upstate NY • **Applicants must be located in one of the upstate counties listed in Attachment 10

Preferred Eligibility Requirements Center B: PEP, Testing & Diagnosis • Experience providing HIV clinical care and clinical education • Organizational capacity and resources to plan, develop and implement HIV clinical education throughout NYS • Experience providing education and consultation about PEP for adults, adolescents and children • Expertise in HIV testing technology

Review Process • Applications will be reviewed and evaluated using an objective rating system reflective of the required items specified for each section. • A panel convened by the AIDS Institute will conduct a review of applications from eligible applicants. • The review team will base its scoring on the maximum points indicated for each section. • Application with the highest acceptable score for each Center will receive the award.
