Technology Packs • Textbook companies now offer “tech packs” for their series • Lessons are set up electronically (PowerPoint presentations, animated listening maps, Big Books, video clips, etc.) • You can get these instead of buying new textbooks for each grade level.
Create Your Own “Tech Packs” • Make your own PowerPoint/Smartboard lessons • Scan listening maps or music into the computer • Create your own listening maps • Use clips from YouTube, TeacherTube, Discovery Ed, etc.
Read a book about a song or composer and have students illustrate what is going on in the music Fluency Compare/contrast a song and its book counterpart(s) Composer or musicians unit Song study Books
