Types of advertising • Print media- written form(newspaper, magazine, direct mail, outdoor, transit) • Broadcast media- visual/auditory (tv, radio) • Online media-advertising on the Internet (email, banner and pop-up ads • Specialty media- everyday items displaying a company name or logo (lanyards, calendars, pens, magnets, tshirts) • Social media- (sharing sites or ads on facebook, twitter, etc.) • Mobile media- (apps, etc.)

  4. Individual Activity • Create a poster to illustrate how the different types of advertising media are used. You may print pictures or use the magazines. • Follow the rubric.
