1918 St. Mary’s Elementary School (current St. Mary’s Church)expands to include a high school program.The school was run by the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary.
1968Marist High School opens Staffed by 10 Marist Brothers, 8 Holy Names Sisters, & 6 lay men and women
The Marist Brothers, a worldwide congregation of teaching religious run Marist High school from 1968 until 1993. They had to return to their east coast ministries, but they have left an indelible mark on the school by their dedication and example.

The Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus & Mary are known for their passion for academic excellence, an exceptional appreciation of the arts, and a special concern for the poor and disadvantaged.
1993 – 1998 Fr. Vincent Lopez, a Dominican priest, served as principal 1998 – present Marist has been led by lay principals (Cheryl Brelsford, Doug Orton, Perry Martin)
