Sit and let me tell you a tale of old Of a few people with skin colored gold In Springfield they live, a town you might know Hopefully you do if you’ve seen the show But I’ll get to that later, I’m getting ahead Would you like to hear the story instead? All of these folks, in Moe’s Tavern did meet To discuss the problem laid at their feet An old man seizing power once again And here is where the real story begins
The first person there was of course Moe Serving a beer to some average Joe He knew the regulars soon would be in Causing havoc and creating a din His head was quite large for a rather short man His nose was flat, as if bashed with a pan On the side of his head, small his ears grew He was quite skilled in pouring a brew He had a bow tie with an apron to match And as I walked in the bar, my name he did catch
Also there was old Montgomery Burns Who owned the power plant in town, I learned He also happened to be the richest man Ever to roam the streets of Springfield land He was the oldest of all the town folk He looked at any time ready to croak In World War II he was a Hell Fish But he was usually hiding inside a ditch He tried quite often to take over Springfield But the towns people always refused to yield
Barney Gumble was one of great girth With a beer in his hand, he was down to earth A good friend of Homer for many years Homer first introduced him to beer Barney’s usual place was on a bar stool There were very few who though the was cool He looked rather sloppy, his hair never combed He spent most of his time at home alone His main accessory was a beer For without one he was filled with fear
Homer Simpson then walked into the bar As you know, of this show he is the star He had a bald head with two lone hairs For such a well known man, he had few cares He worked at the power plant for Mr. Burns He was the safety inspector I learned He also had a wife and three kids And his sisters-in-law he tried to rid He once traveled into outer space But he ended up breaking the ant case
Grampa Simpson soon did appear And towards everything he showed great fear He once was the captain of the Hell Fish He almost killed Hitler, but Burns made him miss Now he lives in the old folks home Waiting for someone to call on the phone Abe was his first name, and he was quite old And because of his age, his skin did fold Homer Simpson was his only son He just wished that Homer wasn’t so dumb
Otto was the next one to arrive He wore a head set; a school bus he did drive All of the kids thought that Otto was cool Even though he was some sort of a fool He once lived at Bart Simpson’s house But he was not quiet as a mouse He was constantly hassled by “the man” For all that he wanted to do was jam I guess that there’s not a whole lot to say But I need to fill this line anyway
Police Chief Wiggum then came to the bar He arrived in, you guessed it, a police car With a doughnut in one hand, coffee the other When roaming Springfield, criminals he smothered He had a large waist, of this you can see If you knew him, he was rather friendly He wore a uniform that was quite blue But if you looked closely, he had some small shoes He had a son Ralph who wasn’t so bright Ralph was not one to get into a fight
Krusty the Clown was the last to arrive Earning money was his greatest strive He has a pacemaker from a heart attack For stress was upon him a while back He had a pale head and a round, red nose He had long, green hair and some clown clothes Smoking cigarettes helped to relieve stress For creating new shows he was hard pressed He once was framed for robbing the Kwik-E-Mart But that plan was foiled by Bart
So that’s all there is, there’s no more to tell I hope all of this came trough like a bell All of these people came for a drink that night But instead were filled to the brim with fright For Mr. Burns told them all of his plan To take over Springfield once again But Homer stood up and said, “Hell no!” So Mr. Burns decided to go And that’s all that I have to say Hopefully this project will get me an A
