  2. multicast-udp-guidelines • draft-shepherd-multicast-udp-guidelines-01 • Coops issues/concerns of RFC5405 • Only addresses issues where mcast recommendations differ from unicast rfc5405 • Multicast CC is well represented in the RMT WG • Other McastCC solutions are addressed at the application layer

  3. multicast-udp-guidelines Open issues from email: • Current rev states minimal default MTU recommendations • Should borrow recommendations from RFC5405 for default MTU for both IPv4 and IPv6 • Sec 3.2.. Because the actual path MTU is unknown, such applications SHOULD fall back to sending messages that are shorter than the default effective MTU for sending (EMTU_S in [RFC1122]). For IPv4, EMTU_S is the smaller of 576 bytes and the first-hop MTU [RFC1122]. For IPv6, EMTU_S is 1280 bytes [RFC2460]

  4. multicast-udp-guidelines • Please review and let me know what’s missing • (again) • Expired, needs refresh • Request draft adoption in TSVWG
