  1. Ghotit Dyslexia - Launches a $100,000 Grant for Dyslexics 1888PressRelease - Ghotit launches a $100,000 grant for students with dyslexia and/or dysgraphia that have economic problems. This grant will allow dyslexic students to cope better in schools, colleges, and universities by using Ghotit Real Writer & Reader software. Instead of directing students how to apply to a grant that will pay for the Ghotit dyslexia software, Ghotit has initiated a grant that will simply provide the software free to these students. This will remove the hassle from the students to select the appropriate grant, fill in the forms, and then wait patiently for the grant's approval. To receive the Ghotit grant, students need only meet 2 straightforward criteria: (1) They are dyslexic students. (2) They have economic challenges to pay for the Ghotit license. The students need to fill a short form that requests from them to describe the challenges they are facing in school due to their dyslexia and the benefits they see in a solution like Ghotit. Following, their request will be reviewed, and if all criteria are met, the applicant students will immediately receive a free Ghotit license that is priced at about $200. Ghotit Real Writer & Reader boasts of the following advanced capabilities, all designed for the learning disabled, dyslexic community: • Patented context-sensitive and phonetic spell checker • Advanced grammar including punctuation checker • Word prediction writing assistance tool with grammar and phonetics awareness • Speech feedback and reading aloud with dual-highlighting • A built-in proofreader

  2. • A reader that can read out loud documents or web pages. Ghotit Real Writer & Reader works with any text application, both at Microsoft Windows and Macintosh, and can also be used as a standalone text editor. Ofer Chermesh, one of Ghotit founders and CEO, is a lifelong dyslexic. The struggle of producing readable text is well known to him. Ofer explains: "During 2013 we received many requests for help from parents and students to whom Ghotit was recommended to them by professional trainers. Some of those in need were not able to spend $200 on Ghotit software and following an informal process were given the software for free. To simplify the process, we decided to launch the Ghotit grant". Ofer adds, "Ghotit technology was tested by independent professionals that found that Ghotit is the number one technology for people with dyslexia and dysgraphia. Real Writer & Reader is used today by many people to cope with their dyslexia and dysgraphia and can be found in many schools and universities around the world".
