Types of Assessments • Time? • Quick—beginning/end of class, with clickers for speedy results (high tech), can be used for grades • Extensive—to promote discussion, with or without clickers (high or low tech), to determine what students already know • Technology? • High Tech—with clickers (expensive), quick or extensive • Low Tech—without clickers (less expensive) and with other materials, can be quick (sometimes), can be extensive

Click-IIT: Using Clickers to Identify Interventions through Technology 13 participating teachers representing four local districts Two teachers received BP grants One dept. team (3 Teachers) received funding to purchase a system Checkout system in districts Additional professional development sessions offered
Future Dissemination Presented a session at the 2009 Making Ohio Schools Work Conference in Columbus in June. Applied to present at the NWO Symposium on Science, Math, and Technology Teaching. Applied to present at the 2010 eTech Ohio Conference focusing on P-20 conversations.
