  3. The Healthy Members • Healthy in the sound words of the gospel (2 Tim. 1:18; Tit. 2:1-2) • Healthy speech (Tit. 2:8)

  4. The Dependable Members • Dependable to serve (Mt. 25:21) • Dependable to work (Ac. 9:26-28; Rom. 12:4-8; 1 Cor. 12:12ff; Eph. 4:16) • Dependable to be present (Heb. 10:25) • Dependable to worship (Acts 2:42; 1 Cor. 11; 14) • Dependable to fight the Devil (2 Tim. 2:4)

  5. The Willing Members • Willing to take on new tasks (Acts 6:1-6) • Willing to stand with our brethren (Acts 14:20) • Willing to learn (2 Pet. 1:5; 3:18) • Willing to stand for truth (Jude 3) • Willing to stay pure (Mt. 5:13; Phil. 2:15; Jas. 1:27; 1 Pet. 2:11-12)

  6. The Generous Members • Generous with their contribution (2 Cor. 9:6-7; Ex. 35:21,29; 36:5-7) • Generous with their time (Acts 8:14-15; 11:22-23) • Generous with their talents (Acts 8:4; 13:1; Gal. 6:1-2; Eph. 4:11; 1 Thess. 5:14; 2 Tim. 2:2) • Generous with their possessions (Acts 2; 4)

  7. The United Members • United in matters of judgment (Rom. 14; Phil. 4:1-2) • United in doctrine (Eph. 4:1-6) • United in respect for authority (Heb. 13:17) • United in attitude (3 Jn. 9-10)

  8. Who Is Keeping This Church Alive? • Will this local church be present here in years to come? For your children? For the lost? • Do you have a genuine personal interest in keeping this local church alive?
