  1. Fast Lane R/C Tundra 4x4 Team 4 Group Members: Andrew Chang (Project Manager) Paul Alvare Henry Flores Kenneth Quiambao Kunal Rana Erik Velthaus

  2. To replicate the Fast Lane R/C Tundra 4x4 using ProEngineer Wildfire To measure and recreate parts on ProEngineer To model the vehicle by assembly and animation of moving parts Accurate measurements of parts Assembly of parts to create an animation Creating connections of moving parts with respect to other parts Animating gears with correct ratio Objectives Challenges

  3. Main Parts • Differential • Suspension • Motor • Drivetrain • Steering

  4. Differential Animation • To aim the engine power at the wheels • To act as the final gear reduction in the vehicle, slowing the rotational speed of the transmission one final time before it hits the wheels • To transmit the power to the wheels from the motor while allowing them to rotate at different speeds

  5. Suspension Assembly The suspension maximizes the friction between the tires and the road surface, to provide steering stability with good handling

  6. Drivetrain Assembly • Motor connects to pinion which connects to spur which connects to differential which connects to driveshaft and back to differential.

  7. Steering Assembly

  8. Final Assembly

  9. Conclusion We believe we fairly recreated the Fast Lane R/C Tundra 4x4. We did not include several parts due to its purpose was of cosmetic only. Accuracy of the parts were true to the original parts. All in all, the modeling of the R/C truck was successful from the measuring to the drawing to the final assembly and animation.
