We will look where Indian art comes from In small groups: What will the pupils get from the project?: Time: One lesson a week for 10 weeks, using additional lessons for research The Plan Making the art: The pupils will make several pieces of Indian art Henna, Ragoli Indian Presentation: Project Evaluation: Final stage: Bringing all the art work together

  3. History & Culture: Introduction to India – followed up by research work in the classroom. PowerPoint presentation on Indian weddings by Visitor. Arts & Crafts: Rangoli patterns Henna Silk painting Maths: Learning how bog India is in comparison to the UK. Looking at shapes, patterns and symmetry in the Rangoli Patterns. Technology: Cooking Indian food in school. Food tasting by Visitor Wrexham? Indian Project Personal & Social Education: Working in a team. Develop self worth and confidence, accepting others, being creative, to know where you belong in the world. To be an independent learner and thinker. Geography: Research the discription of the country, the people, landmarks. Looking at a map of India Indian Flag work ICT: Use the internet to research work. Use of PowerPoint to create slide fro presentations.
