Inventory e-learning at EVTA level How? • A brief questionnaire is set up to make a first inventory of e-learning among EVTA members; Why? • To get more insight in the strategical position of e-learning; And then? • Develop a shared e-learning strategy at EVTA level, tuned to the needs of the EVTA members.
First phase: vdab, FAS, IB, AIKE /PAKK (region Satakunta),Lernia, Forem(Forem formation & centres des compétences), MENFP/eBac (platform e-learning adult education ministery of education) Second phase: Syntra, Bruxelles Formation, INFREP, HRDA, LLMTA, AFPA, IEFP, IFAPME Participants:
Categories of questions: motivation and mission statement; e-learning* participants; finances of e-courses (free or paid for target group); development of e-courses; technical platform; activities at national & international level; * Via internet with/without guidance and blended learning Content of the questionnaire

General observation of e-learning activities of the respondents
Differentiation and increase of services; Fostering a lifelong learning culture; Demand of the market for continuous training; Efficiency in learning (internal reason); Flexibility for customers (external reason); Governmental decisions; To open training for all (broadening of target group); Certification; Make learning attractive! Motivation to start and implement e-learning activities
The finances of e-learning training per target group • Workers: mostly paid • Unemployed: mostly free • paid through taxes • paid by employment office • paid by government • Students: mostly paid • via small course fees • via individual student loans • via apprentice offices
Collaboration at EVTA level? Yes, but…. focus on regional/ national « problems »; It´s time consuming in time and HR;
