  5. University entrance requirements • Additional Admission Criteria: audition, portfolio, interview, essay, supplementary application • Why carry more than 6 grade 12 ‘U’ or ‘M’ courses? • Night School/Online courses/Repeated courses!! • All Offers are CONDITIONAL!!!

  9. “TO DO LIST” FOR COLLEGE & UNIVERSITY APPLICATION Research your options by using the following resources: • Ontario Universities’ Fair: Sept. 22 – 24 (www.ouf.ca) • Ontario College Fair: Oct. 24 (5:00 pm–9:00 pm) & 25 (9am – 2 pm) • eINFO (www.electronicinfo.ca), Ontario colleges (www.ontariocolleges.ca) and myblueprint (www.myblueprint.ca) • St. Marcellinus College Fair: • Wed., September 27thperiod 1 and 2 • St. Marcellinus University Info Sessions: • Three sessions starting Oct. 26, 2017

COLLEGE APPLICATION – NEXT STEPS • November – February: Completion of on-line application: www.ontariocolleges.ca (you will need your OEN number for this!) • Application Fee = $95.00 – 5 choices • Deadline: thursday, FEBRUARY 1st, 2018. • Print confirmation of application • Need an e-mail account & check your e-mail regularly after applying. • MAY 1, 2018: Deadline for confirming acceptance

  13. UNIVERSITY APPLICATION - NEXT STEPS • Your Guidance Department will provide a letter in November that Contains: • On-line application website • school number • student number & • PIN • $150 for 3 choices; $50 for each additional choice • Apply On-line by January 11, 2018

  14. Guess what?! We will call grade 12s down to the cafeteria when your Ouac pin numbers arrive in November. Until then… Start your research ….and Good Luck! Don’t forget – fall open house campus visits!
