Muschi. . Ei sunt răspândiți pe tot globul , începând cu zonele calde și ploiose tot timpul anului , cum este zona ecuatorială și sfârșind cu zonele caracterizate prin temperaturi extrem de scăzute , cum sunt zonele polare . În toate zonele climatice ei preferă biotopurile umede .
