JANUARY 2012 VISION God says in Proverb 29:18 KJV “Where there is no vision, the people perish.” The NASB says “Where there is no vision, the people are unrestrained.” Vision is the ability for human beings to dream and to fulfill God’s plan upon the earth. In order for thy will to be done on earth, as it is in heaven, we the children of God must understand vision.Vision is the ability that God gives to certain individuals to understand clearly the immediate as well as long-range goals of a particular unit of the Body of Christ and to devise and execute effective plans for the accomplishment of those goals. We must remember it is God’s will to bring the human race closer to Jesus, to teach them His ways and to remind them that He loves them. PNS is setting forth our vision for 2012. We have a big vision but I ask you this question? Is God big enough? The New Year is here and it is time to dream big. I encourage you to partner with us as we are reaching out and doing the work of the Lord. Please see inside for our vision for 2012.   2. VISION FOR2012 • Revival A CHURCHON A MISSION John Wesley once said “I set myself on fire and people come to watch me burn.” Our VISION for 2012 is to keep the fire in the church stirred up. PROMISE LAND HOME A home for teenage mothers with their children. This home is expected to be open by spring. Thank you God for supplying the materials and volunteers for this wonderful ministry. • GET INVOLVED • Faith, hope and love home • This home will be for mothers and their children. A home to give them a fresh start to • a new life, in A Christ like environment. • HELP US COMPLETE THIS HOME • New Life CHILDREN’S Home • EXPANDING NLCH AT OIL TROUGH • The Oil Trough children’s home has been a blessing for many children. Our VISION for 2012 is to expand our facility so that we will be able to help more children. • LOVE IS PATIENT, LOVE IS KIND New Life Youth Home • I met with the Newport School Board on December 19, 2011. They agreed to give us the lease on the Castle Berry School for a youth children’s home. The children’s home will be a blessing for this community. The children’s home will be supported for by God’s people. • LET’S DO THIS TOGETHER

My Vision for the New Life Children’s Home in 2012 is for us to shut our doors.  Yep, shut this place down.  I dream to call off the expansion, for the staff to hit the job market, and for me to lock the doors of New Life Children’s Home forever.  Governor Mike Beebe declared that right now the state of Arkansas has almost 4000 children in foster care and currently 500 children and teens waiting for adoption.  He has declared November as Adoption Awareness month in Arkansas.  Our society has a growing crisis.  That crisis is children are being abused and neglected.  That crisis is parents are falling into addictions of drugs and alcoholism. The biggest catastrophe in all of this is that this crisis can be easily averted.  I did a recent internet search, as I wanted to find out exactly how many churches there are in Arkansas. In my very limited research I found out that there are almost 6000 churches located in the Natural State.  (I actually believe that number to be low)  So here is the solution.  Every Arkansas church should recruit, support, fund, help and do whatever it takes to have just one foster family.  Each church must provide one family, one couple, one person to reach out of their comfort zone and become a foster or adoptive parent to an abused or neglected child.  If that happened we would have 2000 extra homes…and New Life Children’s Home could close their doors.  We would not be needed.  All foster children would be in loving homes with Christian parents.  That is my vision for 2012.  It is the vision of the Governor.  I believe it is a vision sent from God.  So, who in your church is willing to step up?  Who in your church is willing to give up the American Dream for a heavenly reward?  Who in your church will take in one of these 4000 children waiting for parents to make the right choice?  Will it be you? We also have Lawn & Yard Services available. •Deborah House Is our women’s homeless shelter. We have 10 beds in this home for anyone that needs help. •God’s Storehouse PNS operates a weekly food bank, God’s Storehouse. Anyone needing assistance with food can find help here. We are open Wednesday 2-6pm •Gideon House Recovery home for men with 14 beds. We are dedicated to helping our youth have a better tomorrow. •Ruth House Is our women’s transitional housing. We have 6 beds in this home for any women graduates who want to live at our facility after they graduate. •Sarah House Is our women’s shelter for pregnant women. We have 8 beds in this home for anyone that needs help.
