Competition Time: Market your Micro-Loan Applicant • You will be divided into groups of three. Two of you will be competitors and the third person will be the decision-maker. • The two competitors in each group will choose a real micro-loan applicant from a developing country, and both will be given the profile chosen by their competitor. • The two competitors then get the chance to persuade the decision-maker why their applicant should be financed over their competitor’s applicant. • The decision-maker decides which applicant is better to fund, and then must share with the class their decision and the reasons for their decision. www.jaqsESLlessons.com
