Editorial workflow • Metadata keywords definitions on homepage and some pages… • Typical workflow prior to uploading: • Content is solicited from the sectors through the Programme Specialists, the Admin Officer, and also from the Director’s office. • News content on the homepage is extracted from information from the regular electronic newsletter. • Frequency of update is also a factor of activity implementation rate, and participation in other fora.   6. Site Management • Profiles and competencies: • Content providers – Dir, Prog. Specialists • Editors – 2 university interns studying journalism (draft summaries), then Programme Specialists (including the Director) review and finalise content. • Web administrators – 1 ICT specialist who is also a trainer. • Financing – staff time (use in-house skills) • Promotion – letterheads, email, partner sites,e-newsletter, business cards… UNESCO Portal Workshop
