Recommendations • Develop a form of assessment/evaluation • […] those responsible for planning and implementing professional development must learn how to critically assess and evaluate the effectiveness of what they do.” (Guskey & Yoon, 2009). • New professional development plan, small scale, pilot first • Research-based activities • Contact/work with National Staff Development Council • Design a program that is longitudinal across time • Similar to induction programs • Conducive to research data collection
