Advance Human Resources Preparation • Review with employee Employee Acknowledgement Form & obtain signature • Ask all employees to review and update emergency contact information in ESS • Review Adverse Events Toolkit located on HR website & IHOP Policy 3.1.1 Staffing During Adverse Events • Complete Manager/Timekeeper roster and send to HR and Payroll by June 15th.
Advance Preparation Continued • Identify potential “rideout” personnel if appropriate and begin roster • Encourage all employees to have direct deposit • Meet with staff to discuss business continuity plans and emergency procedures • Review departmental emergency communication plan or develop one if necessary
Preparation When Hurricane Imminent • Print Emergency Contact Roster (instructions in toolkit) • Finalize Rideout list and send to HR • Remind employees of communication plan • Print any forms needed in anticipation of system failure • Ensure that all essential personnel have orange badge and car identification
