Theme of this workshop • Main theme of the workshop: the challenges of the ICT security standardization for developing countries • Study Group 17’s mandate is to build confidence and security in the use of ICTs
Objectives present activities and achievements of standardization on cybersecurity, data protection, trust services and cloud computing focus in methodology of securing ICT within critical infrastructure, hear a reaction from security industry, address the interests and needs of users encourage collaboration between SDOs in security standardization for the special needs of developing countries.
Steering team of the workshop ITU-T Study Group 17 is conscious of the security standardization challenges of developing countries, and one of its actions is the planning and organizing of this security workshop under the leadership of Mr. Mohamed Elhaj
