Pre-Survey • Please be honest and open while taking the pretest. • Read each question carefully. • Circle only one answer for each question, unless the question asks for more than one answer. • Raise your hand when you have questions, or if there are any words you do not understand. • When you finish the survey, turn it over and sit quietly until the rest of the class finishes.

  8. Speaking • Make sure verbal and nonverbal message match. • Speak clearly and stick to the point (don’t talk too long). • Be sure your message is received as you intended it to be (watch the listener).
