  3. General information • Kryvyi Rih is the eighth largest city in Ukraine. The city is situated in the Dnipropetrovs'ka Oblast at the confluence of the Inhulets and Saksahan rivers. Population is about 690,622. • Kryvyi Rih city extends for 130 km and is considered to be the longest city in Europe. • The wealth of the city is not only its powerful manufacturing-territorial complex, but also a significant network of education, culture and sports .

  5. Theatres and cinemas There are many cinemas in Kryvyi Rih. The city also has three theaters - Taras Shevchenko Drama and Musical Comedy Theatre, the puppet theater and music and plastic arts "Academy of movement."

  6. Parks • The city is very green. There are 21 parks, 134 squares, 12 quays and 22 gardens which stretch at the area of 16 thousand acres.

  9. The largest flower clock in Ukraine • A unique clock of the 22 meter diameter was created within the framework of realization of the program City without Outskirts. A length of the minute hand, whose rate is provided by the clock mechanism under the construction, makes up 12 meters. • The flower composition, of which the "bottom" of the clock is made, is like a giant flower. In total, 22,000 flowers of six types were planted. • During a day, every hour will be accompanied by a melodic bell and at night, the clock will be lighted.

  10. The biggest in Ukraine musical fountain • KriviyRih got tremendous gifts for its 236th official “birthday” this year – a monument to the founder of the city Cossack Rih and the biggest in Ukraine musical fountain.
