  14. Family Empowerment • Recognize that families can be both self-reliant and have a need for some supports

  15. Family Empowerment (2) • Persons who meet the family should be knowledgeable about the complicated world of social services

  16. Family Empowerment (3) • Worker should be knowledgeable about and concerned with other community resources that could help the child and family
