  1. Alumni Career Services Alumni Club Leadership Presentation

  2. Alumni Career Services • The UK Alumni Association presently offers alumni career services to university alumni and association members. Career Services are available in person, by phone, through e-mail and via Skype. • Services include various programs and events, as well as, individual counseling with a professional alumni career counselor.

  3. Alumni Career Services • One complementary individual consultation with an Alumni Career Counselor is available for all UK Alumni per year. • UK Alumni Association members are entitled to 4 sessions per year.

  4. Career Counselors assist with: • Updating a resume • Preparing for an interview • Job Search Strategies • Career assessments (Strong Interest Inventory, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) • Identifying marketable skills • Exploring career fields • Researching employers

  5. Monthly Teleconference Calls • Connecting ACS to alumni remotely

Fall 2011 Teleconference Series • Sept.1: Networking for Introverts • Sept.16: Acing the Interview • Oct.6: Work-Life Balance • Oct.28: How to Network Like a Pro • Nov.3: Branding Yourself • Nov.18: Job Search Strategies for the New Economy • Dec.1: Relaunching Your Career After a Gap • Dec.16: New Resume Trends
