Objectives of Meeting • Familiarize HHS with CRA and its inventory component • Determine how CDC can capitalize on the HHS relationship with Roche and others to obtain inventory data needed for situational awareness and response planning • Explore the need for related data collection and access between HHS and CDC

As a program, includes the people, processes and tools to increase public health capabilities while supporting federal reporting requirements to monitor and track countermeasures pre-event, event, post-event Countermeasure & Response Administration (CRA) • Program within NCPHI/DEPR • Selected Priority Countermeasures in the Commercial Sector • Complementary to other CDC Activities: • Vaccine Tracking (NCIRD VODS) • Federal Stockpile (SNS Inventory) • Any Countermeasure, any Event • Detail Data Collection • Aggregate Reporting • Liaison with PH Partners, PHIN Help Desk, DAMC SMEs, DSLR SMEs, SNS

Target Countermeasures • Pandemic Influenza • Oseltamivir phosphate (Tamiflu®) • Zanamivir (Relenza®) • Bioterrorism and Infectious Diseases • Ciprofloxacin – Anthrax, Tularemia, Plague • Doxycycline – Anthrax, Tularemia, Plague • Levofloxacin (Levaquin®) – Anthrax • Streptomycin –Tularemia, Plague • Gentamicin – Tularemia, Plague, Botulism • Additional antibiotics • Selected Medical Materials

Basic Data Requirements for CIT • Product Information • National Drug Code numbers and descriptions • Unit of measure/packaging • Lot number and expiration date • Inventory Data • Quantities on hand, in process/on order, commitments • Shipments • Purchase order number • Shipping information and status • Recipient identifier/type and location (zip code) No financial information will be requested!
