  3. Reminders Before the Trip • Bring your own medication and a card in your wallet stating your blood type and allergies • Indemnity Forms • Insurance • Inform your family/guardians of your whereabouts

  4. Transportation • Meet up 615am DFS Orchard. Departure 645am, by coach to Mersing. • Mersing to Tioman Via Ferry • Return to Singapore at around 9pm • Headcount to be performed at each transit

  5. Injuries and Sickness • In-house clinic at the resort for minor injuries and sickness • Nearest government hospital at Tekekvillage about 15 min away. • Severe cases to be transported to Mersing hospital 2 hrs away • Divers suffering from decompression sickness will be air evacuated to Seletar airport

  6. Safety Training • Safety officers and some committee members have first aid training • AED/CPR to be operated/performed by Zongyao

  7. Activities • Daytime activities at participants discretion: Trekking diving snorkeling … • Water activities to be halted in event of rain • Participants are required to wear life vests when snorkeling • All activities are to be done in pairs and whereabouts must be known by a committee member

  8. Activities • Nighttime activities: Stargazing overnight on all nights conducted by committee members • Stargazing will be cancelled in event of rain • Be careful when moving around the observation site as it will be dark and large telescopes will present • Bring a torch light with a red filter to the observation site

  9. Safe Venue • In event of an emergency, the lobby is designated to be the safe venue, please assemble there for further instructions
