I Do Not Progress I do not walk the lineto some visible end.I snake my way insideinescapable circles.This revelation did not come to mewith maturity.it had always been there,in the muted sobsof my childhood,the inflammationsof adolescence,the oyster-shells of my later years.Yes, I was bornas I still am today.You would call this fate. This poem means that during your life you may move forward and achieve goals, but you are always going to be you, and no matter what changes you make you will be the same person you were born as. You can never change who you are.
