Newton’s laws of motion in MTB BY: Anna Xia
THIS IS MTB MTB = MOUNTAIN BIKE
NEWTON’S FIRST LAW An object at rest will remain at rest unless acted on by an unbalanced force. An object in motion continues in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force. This law is often called "the law of inertia".
Now this Mountain Bike is stays still, that means the force of it is zero, and there has no any unbalanced force to push it
NEWTON’S SECOND LAW F = ma Net Force = Mass X Acceleration
Mike’s MTB , which weighs 1,00 kg, Mike rides the bike and make the acceleration of the bike = 50 m/s². What’s the net force of the bike ? F = ma M=100 kg A=50 m/s² F=100 kg X 50 m/s² F=5000 kg · m/s²
NEWTON’S THIRD LAW For every action there is an equal and opposite re-action.
Look at them, they have one foot step on the ground, and when the race start, they will let their feet to push back, then the bike can move to the front
