Sammi Kinghorn • Sammi Kinghorn became paralysed at the age of 14 due to a horrific accident. • She later attended a para sport identification day organised by Scottish Disability Sport. • Her talents were realised and Sammi is now number one in Europe in the T53 category for athletes who only have use of their arms to power their wheelchair. • Sammi, the youngest member of Scotland's games squad, will represent Scotland at the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games in the T54 category over 1500 metres.
