  2. Maemfe is a Brazilian company, based in the city of Rio de Janeiro, being 22 years in activity, leader in the provision of a wide range of services and products to assist all segments that require Boilermaking, Machining, Bending and Cutting (cold, plasma and waterjet).

  4. The Company • Maemfe is located in a easy access area, by Avenida Brasil, very close to the Presidente Dutra Highway entrance. In an operation area of 3.000 m2, the company has over 90 equipment units, such as guillotines, calanders, presses, drillers, vices, CNC cutting machines, cranes and forklifts. We keep an inventory of approximately 100 tons of carbon steel and 40 of stainless steel and aluminum to ensure speedy delivery.

Awards • Winner of 2007 Top Business Award, in the Industry Category This award is granted by SEBRAE/RJ, by Grupo Gerdau and by Firjan, supported by the Government of the State of Rio de Janeiro through the Programa Qualidade Rio. Its purpose is to exhibit the good examples by micro and small companies, located in the State of Rio de Janeiro, that, through the application of managing methods, achieved significant results in their community and within their company. The company is evaluated under eight criteria: Leadership, Strategies and Plans, Customers, Community, Information and Knowledge, Personnel, Processes and Results.

CNC Cutting • Maemfe has qualified professionals to comply with the requirements of its projects. • Our cutting machines, waterjet, plasma, oxycutting work under numerical commands (CNC) i.e., they cut through dwg and or dxf files projects. • We receive the drawings by fax, CDs or e-mails under AutoCad platforms.

  14. Waterjet Cold Special Cutting System • Maemfe provides all market segments the advanced waterjet cutting technology . • This technology works with water under high pressure combined with abrasives, cutting plain material, in the intended format.

  15. Waterjet Cold Special Cutting System • The waterjet cutting may be used in fine and delicate material or thick and hard material, small or large with thicknesses of up to 250 mm, length of up to 3.000 mm and width of up to 2.000 mm. • It usually does not require other finishing.

  16. Waterjet Cold Special Cutting System • Executed with no contact with tools, not causing any fatigue, micro fissures or heating, preserving the physical properties of the material. • This type of cutting causes the least loss of space between the pieces to be cut, allowing best results.

  20. Cold Cutting and Bending • Our equipment allows the cold cutting and bending of carbon steel and aluminum plates - 3000 x 13mm (1/2") and of 3000 x 8mm (5/16") stainless steel • Ferrous • A-36, 1020, 1045 and etc • Up to 300mm (12") thickness

  22. Calandering Dies We have up to 450 ton Hydraulic Presses • We calander up to ½” thick x 3 meters long carbon steel plates Machining General machining. Vices, radial drillers, mills, etc.

  24. Boilermaking • We provide boilermaking services and manufacture carbon and stainless steel and aluminum. • We hire welders that are qualified in accordance with ASME and AWS standards for TIG, MIG/MAG and LINED ELECTRODES.
