Correlation Analysis • Measures the strength of linear association between two numerical variables. • Example: Height of Men and Shoe Size
Correlation Coefficient (r) • Strength of association • Values range from -1 to +1 • Positive Linear Relationship– if the points seem to loosely fall around a line sloped upwards. • Negative Linear Relationship – if the points fall around a straight line sloped downwards.

Example • Calculate the Correlation Coefficient Between X and Y: r = 0.9527 There is a strong positive linear association between X and Y
