Objectives (2) • Overview on current ELVs implemented by the Parties concerning Annex V • Sources of information • Questionnaire on strategies and policies for compliance review • Additional information from national experts • Table amended with data from BREF documents (ranges for installations using BAT) Vienna, June 2007
Results (1) • In most cases, sources of Annex III applying BAT would lead to improvements in reduction efficiencies and lower emission concentrations • Cases where current ELVs applied by the Parties are more stringent than those in Annex V (i.e. combustion installations) • For most categories, Parties apply ELVs for Hg, Cd, Pb where Annex V doesn’t mention ELVs Vienna, June 2007
