  1. Station Masters of WA This book is the culmination of 30 years of research by the author who is the research officer for Rail Heritage WA. As such he received many enquiries from families and local historical societies. As well as the detailed listings, the book includes a valuable overview of the SM’s role and how that developed over time.

  2. Years of research The author’s painstaking research has enabled him to list every officer appointed in charge of a station in WA. Not only on the WA Government Railways, but also on less publicised railways: Midland Railway Company (1894-1964) Commonwealth Railways Great Southern Railway (1889-1896)

  3. A wonderful collection of photos has been located a In most cases the author has been able to identify Station Masters in the pictures

  4. Final production The whole project has resulted in an attractive book, printed A4 size on art paper, with a wealth of useful information.
