Definition of Converging Converging media platforms is when an individual platform such as Print combines with another platform to appeal to other viewers. “Convergence is the process where several media channels come together to exists and operate in synergy or rather in harmony.” Media institutions converge so that there ratings and viewings increase and appeal to a wider target audience.

  3. And there converged institution's The BBC has converged to the three main media platforms e-media, print and broadcast. The reason for this is that the institution is world wide and it is broadcasted around the world. However, the BBC has converged into more institutions.
