  7. About WMRCC of Durham Women’s Multicultural Resource and Counselling Centre of Durham (WMRCC) is a charitable and community based women’s organization.

  8. About WMRCC of Durham WMRCC of Durham provides culturally supportive counselling, programs and services to women, youth and children from diverse backgrounds.

  9. About WMRCC of Durham WMRCC provides services to newcomers, immigrant and refugee women, children and youth with lived experience of violence and abuse as well as those dealing with settlement and integration issues.

  10. About WMRCC of Durham Since its inception in 1993, the agency has been very active in meeting the unique needs and filling service gaps through its innovative programs in the community.

  11. About WMRCC of Durham We believe that all women regardless of race, cultural and social identity, religion, class, age, ability, immigration status, geographical location and sexual orientation should have equitable access to community and social services.

  13. What we do…WMRCC current programs and services: Parenting Program for Newcomer Mothers at RISK with Child Welfare Agencies, Women’s Economic Advancement and Leadership Skills,

  14. What we do…WMRCC current programs and services: Mentorship Program for Newcomer Women and Youth, Women’s Wellness and Healthy Lifestyles Project,

  15. What we do…WMRCC current programs and services: Violence Prevention and Awareness, Diversity Training. Literacy Program,
