Let’s Make Ice Cream!!A teacher will come around to give you the ingredients! • 1/2 cup of milk goes into the LITTLE freezer bag. • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla goes into the LITTLE freezer bag. • 1 tablespoon of sugar goes into the LITTLE freezer bag. • Carefully squeeze out the excess air in your bag and seal it shut. Make sure your bag is sealed completely!!!
Let’s Make Ice Cream!! • Put 3 cups of ice into the BIG freezer bag. • Put 4 tablespoons of salt into the large freezer bag. • Put the LITTLE bag inside of the BIG bag. • Make sure little bag is touching the ice! • Carefully squeeze out the excess air in your large bag and seal it completely shut!
Let’s Make Ice Cream!! • Put on your glove/mittens/socks. If you forgot them use paper towels or your jacket/sweatshirt • Lightly rub your bags together between your hands until the milk and ingredients begin to form a solid. • KEEP RUBBING! Be gentle

Let’s Make Ice Cream!! • Get a teacher to check that your ice cream is ready • Carefully remove the smaller bag and wipe it down so the salt water doesn’t ruin the flavor of your ice cream • Cut the bottom corner of your smaller bag and squeeze the ice cream out this hole into two Dixie cups
