2013-2014(2) New Semester Notices • This semester is from 24th Feb. to 12th July, 2014. • Semester starts in Week1, and ends in Week20, Week1-17are teaching weeks, Week18 is reading week and in-class exam for some electives, Week19-20 are final exam weeks for compulsory and the other electives. • IUP2010 students should contact supervisor regularly and the final project submission date is 8th of May. • IPP2013 students instruction meeting for thesis proposal writing is in Week 17.
Elective Course Replacement 1. Elective Course Replacement Registration in International Education Office (IEO) When: the next Monday 17th to Tuesday 18th of March 2. IEO provides register to Finance Office on 18th March 3. Make the payment to Finance Office When: the next Thursday 20th March afternoon (1.30pm-4.30pm) in GIME 4. Finance Office IEO payment name list 5. IEO replaces electives for students based on fees paid (the feedback from Finance Office)
Elective Course Replacement cont. What kinds of electives could be replaced? • Failed elective modules • Unsatisfied elective modules • Students should use the passed or satisfied scores to replace failed or unsatisfied scores. • Payment: IUP 300Yuan/credit; IPP 500Yuan/credit

Graduation Requirements • IUP Graduation Standards 1) Pass all the courses (scores over 60) 2) Weighted average above 70 3) Obtain enough credits according to Curriculum Plan (compulsory and elective) • IPP Graduation Standards 1) Pass all courses (scores over 70 for compulsory and 60 for electives) 2) Obtain enough credits according to Curriculum Plan (compulsory and elective) 3) Pass thesis oral defence
IUP Graduation Re-sit Examination • Students must apply for Graduation Re-sit Examination before taking it/them For IUP2010 students: 8th, 9th of April making registration in IEO 10th April making payment (300RMB/credit) • Number of Re-sit exams should be no more than 6. • NO graduation re-sit exams for IPP.
