Conclusions After controlling for measurable variables in the regression model: • Females have lower salaries than males in all models attempted. The average dollar disparity varies depending upon the unit of analysis. • Minority faculty have higher salaries than white faculty in all areas except Medicine, where a negative disparity was noted in two of the analyses.
