  2. *Pathophysiology* • Inflammation of a lymph gland usually caused by a viral or bacterial infection.

  3. *Signs and Symptoms* • Swelling • Pain • Cellulitis • Fever • Malaise • Anorexia

  4. *Who Gets It?* • Anyone, It can spread from person to person, Childhood.

  5. *Prevention* • There is really no way to prevent infection. • It is a normal course of the body

  6. *Diagnosis* History and physical examination. Minimal laboratory testing. Antibiotic therapy. Ultra sound, Cat scan, may be needed.

  7. *Treatments* Antibiotics and Tissue sampling If there’s an abscess it needs to be drained. You can also take fever and pain relief fluids.

  8. *Prognosis* It depends on the specific disease in individuals with bacterial infection. Complete recovery maybe extended with prompt antibiotic treatment. Recovery varies depending on the underlying cause
