Where was the movie house, the grocery store, the pharmacy and the poolroom? Join us on the second Tuesday of the month to explore historic sights and talk about life in Sykesville not so long ago. We meet from 10 a.m. to noon. Sept. 14 The Nexion Building @ The Warfield Complex Oct. 12 The Sykesville Townhouse – Meet Linda Greenberg, author of Sykesville Past & Present Nov. 9 The Sykesville Townhouse – Rick Gordon will present a pictorial from 1975. Help him identify names and faces. Dec. 14 St. Barnabus Parish house - Immediately following the tour, join us for lunch at Baldwin’s Station - decorated for the holidays.
