Often Asked Questions • Q: Who can become a Referee • A: Anyone over the age of 12 can become a Level 4 referee • Q: how do I become a referee? • A: Contact your Local Soccer Club or contact us at SWSRA to attend a Mini & ELRC • Q: Is there a cost to me? • Yes. Mini Referee clinic cost $25 and ELRC cost $50. However, some Local Clubs waive this fee for first time Referees
Questions Continued • Do I get paid for Refereeing? • Yes. Fees are paid to the referee. Fee ranges depend on the age group you are refereeing. Usually between $10 to $50 per game • Is there training/help after I become a referee? • Yes. On going training is available from your local soccer club or through the SWSRA. We hold monthly training sessions and one on one help is also available
